The

Luxurious, Affordable Accomodations
A Beautiful Mountain Retreat
The Little Inn of Harlan is a beautiful 3600+ square foot house located on South Main Street, nestled in the quaint
city of Harlan, Kentucky. Built in 1938, during the heyday of coal mining in Harlan County, The Little Inn served
as a rooming house, primarily for coal miners and construction workers. The house has been completely renovated
and has original hardwood floors throughout. The victorian style furniture is sprinkled throughout with antiques.
The inn has four bedrooms and five full bathrooms; a large living room with fireplace; a private family room off
the living room (which can be converted to a 5th bedroom), separated by beautiful french doors; a large formal
dining room capable of comfortably seating 15; and a massive 600 square foot eat-in kitchen complete with
stainless steel appliances including 2 double stainless steel sinks (with 2 faucet systems), a double convection oven,
wet bar (with built-in countertop grill) that seats 4, and two 4 burner stovetops, each with a built-in griddle.
The kitchen is capable of seating 12 comfortably for breakfast, lunch or dinner.
The inn is on 4 building lots in downtown Harlan. The exterior includes a 500 sq ft deck surrounded by a privacy
fence, a half court basketball court, a large parking area capable of accomodating up to 40’ trailers, and a shaded
picnic area. Water and electric are available.
